Find a readers' group

If you are looking to join a readers’ group (also known as book groups) we may be able to help.

The first step is to ask at your local library or book shop; they may run their own readers’ groups or know about groups in your area. Some arts centres and theatres also run readers’ groups.

Many local authorities have lists of readers’ groups on their websites (usually in the pages about library services). Start by going to www.[name of authority].gov.uk.

We hold our own list of readers’ groups, many of which are happy to accept new members. Go to our contact page [link] and tell us where you are and what type of readers’ group you think might suit you.
